Importance of Good Governance from Mahabharat till now

Good governance-  it is a set of rules, regulations for lack of violence, and to have stability in the government, organization, or party for low risk or corruption or unhealthy behavior, and work with effectiveness.  Indian epic Mahabharata's part Shanti Parva renders the duties of a ruler, dharma, and good governance, as counseled by the dying Bhishma to Yudhishthira and various Rishis (sage).  Shanti Parva devotes around 100 chapters on the duties and responsibilities of a king and practices of proper governance.  Shanti Parva claims-  A prosperous kingdom must be guided by truth and justice  the duties of a ruler and his cabinet are to enable people to be happy, pursue truth, and act sincerely. the proper function of a ruler is to rule according to dharma; he should not use his power to enjoy the luxuries of life.  rulers must help the upliftment of all living beings  the best law is one that enhances the welfare of all living beings, without injuring any specific group. all th
